More Pictures!!!

MBR Toilet - Laying of floor tiles in progress

New_MBRT1.jpg

could i just ask... when the toilet/kitchen tiles are laid, do they need to be left there for a few days to "set"? do the pp need to test the water proofing membrane, etc before we can actually walk on it? or once tile, cement dry, that's it?

according to our estimated work schedule, tiling and masonry works take bout 3 weeks; but when we went up to the unit on tuesday, tiling on the kitchen and toilet walls had started, and looked half complete. need 3 weeks for total completion?

nice nice carpentries wor!

Xbb, today my hub went to buy the Blum systems at Thomson.

the prices r so much cheaper than Bukit Timah did u know?

btw the price u quote earlier in ur post, is for the runners only?

I got 4 S1 and 8 S4 for abt $700 only.

I only purchase runners. Less complicated in terms of carpentry work.

I changed from internal drawers to external drawers.

450mm runner x 4 @ $47.34

400mm runner x 1 @ $46.76

Breakfast table x 1 @ $250

Total $486 with delivery.

In fact now my place has blum runners and the better version of normal runners. The cheaper one is doing a good job (minus the soft closing)

My tiling only lasted for a week. Prior to that is waterproofing. I only redo my entire MBR toilet and Kitchen floor. Maybe thats why time taken shorter?

After laying the tiles, tilers will leave it to set before applying grout. Shouldn't take too many days.

Heya Neighbour.

Good progress with the carpentry! Looks nice.

Well-planned kitchen. :)

Thanks Adrian! Looking forward to see your drawings become actual masterpieces!

EDL Piano white ....i think its 0.8mm cos 1mm is more expensive wor. Not the same as you mentioned.

ABS is dark grey. I 'm glad I didnt use white...will look a lil too plain.

More pictures from this coming weekend =)

hi XBB,

nice progress and very nice kitchen.

i'm also going to use morningdew for my rooms, do you like how the color turned out?

We have problems choosing the best white for the house.

Despite morning dew is catergorise under yellow, it turned out very soft cream without being yellowish. I never regretted the choice :P

Accordingly to my electrician, I got hold of really good downlights.

He said it is the easiest to install (of all the different lights he come across) and quality very good.

Now I feel so good buying it...hahaha

Made of nylon, fully enclosed...light not lost so very bright and durable!
