Took me a long long time trying to convince my mum that my kitchen will be just plaster and paint over... no wall tiles... old ppl keep thinking that kitchen wall must have tiles so that easier to clean... So need more work to cement and plaster. So hacking+cement+plaster, Uncle was going to quote me close to 1k+. But cementing without hacking, Uncle agreed to do it for me free. Unexpected Changes Required: - Flattening of walls that has diff depth: Two bedrooms affected. MBR will be shrunk to the colum. - Kitchen revamp: From straight line to L & Gallery Style. Reason being: Stove position has to be changed - Seal up kitchen wall - Build a partition underneath beam in the living room - No shoes inside the house: All shelved in store room - TV and dining area switch position - Change floor tiles - Curtains for MBR door (most exposed) and Study Room (door is opposite another room's door) Exceeded our very small renovation budget...haha FSM is very detailed and patient.
