Don't think you will see much problem. Just that it will not last for many years. If I am not wrong, it is mild steel with power coating. Anyway if rust, can take the opportunity to change new one, right. For me that light was my first choice due to the glass panel but after discussion with shop pple was recommended alu type. Then can do a mini reno. heheheh haha good idea can change my light when that happen..... just went to see my house....rubbish cleared and corrugated paper cleared....most lights installed.... and I LOVE MY HOUSE.......finallly i can see the floorings with the lights on and paintings done...I LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!
