My dad got a shock when he saw it...told me maybe the previous owner scare people will steal the compressor I've been thinking about the cleaning ever since we bought the house...and i'm quite a cleaniness freak...have to close one eye... saw in your blog you've been doing lots of buying...when will your reno starts? I kept telling my hubby if I cannot settle my small little place, I want a part time maid.. haha.. I'm also quite particular abt cleanliness and my mom have done a pretty good job! I went to tons of places.. but only bought one big item.. i.e. the mattress.. ironic isn't it.. I haven't even get ID/contractor yet.. Think deciding.. haha.. For the past 2 days, my house has been a real mess but its a good mess as all the floor tile and wall tiles hack, kitchen cabinets, air con dismantle. hubby took photos to show to the kids and they can't believe their house is like that.... Was a little concerned about whether the permit to hack down wall was approved so yesterday pester hubby to call Yeak to confirm...and he say YES it has been approved....YEAH!!! no delays on that...hopefully at the end of today can see walls gone!! Till now we have not sign anything or make payment to Yeak ....in fact hubby was the one kept asking Yeak when he want to sign....he was worried that Yeak will not start work if not paid but seems so far work still going on...but think we better pay him fast ...tiling should be starting soon... preciousjam 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2009 Updates : Went to see my house at about 5 today...the hacking of wall and floor tiles completed and as expected the walls hacked... The workers are clearing the debris and boy so much.... much to my surprise saw all the tiles there as well....guess everything going smoothly as of now.... After seeing the wall between study room and living room hack off, I am convinced we make the right decision... The whole area looks so big and airy....so excited just thinking of how i'm going to do up the deco.... Tomorrow will be meeting Yeak to make first payment and probably go through the tiles... Plus I am fussy la, want to stay only in mum's estate, walk distance to mrt, and a big 3rm unit. Sigh...saw 1 perfect unit some time ago but the neighbour..... sigh....
