Does your wardrobe have a gypsumboard partition supporting it? A lot of ID said that it's a must to have this when doing a walk-in wardrobe.

How much is your reno cost?

Hi Brownskinnedboy, r u referring to the wardrobe backing? ...... mine dun consider as a full WIW ....... the entire wardrobe is of solid-ply including the backing .......

Reno cost is in the region of 25k

Wow, you've got a very nice place - very class and condo like. :good:

By the way, I also have a similar glass panel and door at kitchen area, yours looks good!! :)

Thanks Skyblue ...... just trying to create a soft & cosy feel to wind down after work .....

I think the ID's cleaner did a very good job ..... he in fact brought back the shines of all my glasses in the house ...... Credits to him :thumbs up:

Yup. I 'm refering to your wardrobe backing. Two side of your wardrobe is against the wall but one is not right? Can I copy your wardrobe and show it to those IDs that said it cannot be done?

Actually if your ID is trying to create a WIW for u , they are right to create a false wall using gypsum boards. For ours its more like normal full height wardrobe in a U-shape to create a room-like feel .........

The laminate backing is to create a cosy feel for my study area.

Sure, please feel free to show this to your IDs for reference....... ;)

Do you think it'll be suitable for living room?

Hi Mitlancer

your house really looks very very good :dribble: esp the toilets & kitchen.

Initially when Lynn propose to install L-box in the kitchen, my hb was skeptical about it, after seeing your pics, he only has 1 word - SPLENDID! We have agreed to Lynn's proposal. My reno will start next week if everything goes by planned, hopefully can out as nice as yours.

Congrats!

ur "before" kitchen looks very condo-alike, ur "after" kitchen is showroom-alike!! Very nice change! The house was already very nice to begin with, and after-reno it feels like condo. :good:

Hmmm..... convince him will be better rather than brat ..... Hahhahahaha........

Yup , its sleek look does make a difference...... Depend on the size of the living hall, if u r using it to enhance your air-con in the living its definately more than enough ..... but using it as the main fan for such a big place is a little under
