mm yes yes quite minor. budget about 10k? I guess it's always important to do what you like...

We are trying to keep it within 15K for everything now.. Still trying hard... But will definitely do only things we like within this limited budget...

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request
Kitchen has limited workspace so im very tempted to change it to L-Shape.

Cupboards are useful but u have to find some place to buy your drinking supply etc.

Buy drinking supply? You mean put?

Our kitchen opening is different.

I'm thinking of extending the kitchen against this wall.

Ah... I see. Your kitchen entrance is by the side instead of center like us.

Actually, the kitchen has a lot of cupboards.. In fact I find it excessive... There's two more cabinets besides this main one that smartie showed... Indeed very little workspace.. but the fortunate thing is that I dun really cook now... haha.. And by the way, there's another existing breakfast table to put things.. Maybe Smartie can post more photos for you to see...

This is what booy meant by a lot of cupboards:

And the breakfast table to put more things if we run out of space at the kitchen worktop

same sentiments, the MBR toilet looks really nice.. sayang to hack.

i paid 22k COV and have to redo the whole place cos there isn't much things left over by first owner and whatever is there are pretty passe...

What's important is that you've found a place that you like. Just enjoy the renovation and furnishing process and forget about the COV :yamseng:

that's really alot! hmmm distance between the white cabinets n toilet wall is quite narrow right?

i have only whatever is on that one side. i have friends who did their kitchen on the opp side...more opportunity of an L shape (Against toilet wall)

Having an L-shape would be nice.. More space.. But doing opp. side will mean to incur more cost.. Becos need to shift water supply around..

Our white cabinet is around 1 metre away from the toilet wall..

Think all of us with this layout doesn't have too much choices.. But the wardrobe won't be big.. So I think I need to spill over my clothes to the other bedroom as well...

Ya, esp when the MBR is kinda small right? Its a headache in planning yet having to accommodate the ease of usage n personal preference! I prefer the area in front of kitchen to be TV area, more privacy, but which means my dining area will be exposed... :(

Having clothes in 2 rooms, wun that be very 'luan' where the clothes are?

I prefer the dining to be exposed than tv area.. Becos more time is spent at TV area than dining area.. Some ID suggested to put a small partition kinda of thing to create the entrance from the door.. in that way, there will be slightly more privacy..

I have a lot of clothes that seldom wear.. Clothes for functions or dinners.. or those thick thick clothes that is forever waiting for singapore "winter" to come or only can be wear overseas.. So those clothes shall be banished to the other room.. Or else the entire wardrobe won't be sufficient for me and yet i have to share with my dear smartie... :P

same here! i prefer TV area to have more privacy too. My initial intention was also to build a small partition facing the main door so to have some privacy for dining area as well, but in the end dropped the idea cos we scare the walking space becomes too narrow. I've seen my neighbour's house doing that, but was a 90deg partition (partition and main gate forms a L-shape) but that means dining space very cramp also.

Gd that u have 2 wardrobe area in this case! my hub is competing with me to see who got more clothes!

Maybe.. but also could be built at two different times as they seem to be of different styles.. but no matter.. as long as they look nice and are in good condition. hehe ;)
