xherion 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Thanks scenic, yeah we were contemplating to add the grills, now thinking about adding those window safety lock so the window can only be opened in certain angle, not all the way.

qus 1 Report post Posted August 22, 2009 Hi Adrian John, Thanks and good luck for your reno too, Yeak is a safe bet, almost engaged him too but had other considerations that time. Hi Dyleen, I got the lights from various stores, Lights Arcade, Extreme lighting, and Toyomi (near A lighting in Geylang). I got the crystal lights for $260 each from Toyomi, it's a really good deal considering the exact same lights i found in Balestier costs more than 1K. Nice, Can you pm me where is toyomi? Tks

adrian_john 1 Report post Posted August 27, 2009 Xherion, Just wanted to check with you, for your living area, did you paint it in an orange/yellow-ish tone, or is the yellowish hue due to the use of warm white lighting? I'm toying with either using white or a beige tone for the living area and was wondering if the effect would be similar to that of yours. Thanks.
xherion 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2009 Hi adrian_john, actually my living room's paint is using rose white color, so the hue was due to the warm white lighting + yellow LED. in my previous home i used light yellow paint with warm white lighting, the effect was too yellowish for my taste. so i think white wall paint + warm white light effect is just nice. i'll post the living room pic during day time later so you can see the difference.
