Guest toilet (Fengshui master said this area must have green color...hmmm..any suggestions?)

(Need to do something about it...hmmm...maybe put up a shower curtain to block)

Foyer: green

Dining: green

Living: green

Guest toilet: green

Guest bedroom: blue

Master bedroom: blue or pink or purple or wood or red

Study room: blue

Utility room: green

Guess it will be a green green house...

Thanks for the grats.

It is a new condo in Yew Tee.

I saw many units have already moved in or started renovation.

I signed my ID or contractor on 3 Mar 09 and now still discussing the designs :P

Which private place is this? With pool... :) nice!

Fengshui master said my element is strong GOLD and my wife's is strong WOOD.

Green will be good for us :P

Contract with ID or rather contractor:

Master bedroom

a. Supply labour & material to install plaster board light pelmet with curtain groove line (90sqft)

b. Supply labour & material to fabricate window storage cabinet with solid ply wood,

veneer finish with lift top c/w heavy duty hydraulic piston lift suport c/w build in console player

(2950mm - cannot do after site visit because it will greatly reduce walking space :bangwall: )

(Likely will do a revised contract for this after finalising design)

c. Supply labour & material to install dresser cabinet with solid ply wood, high

pressure laminates, & strip mirror with extra fix door panel next to it

(cabinet: 600mm(W)x250mm(D)x2500mm(H))

Study room

a. Supply labour & material to install work station with set table in solid ply

wood, high pressure laminatess & ABS edging c/w top cabinet in solid ply wood,

high pressure laminate & glass door with aluminium frame

(3600mm - overquoted by double after site visit :bangwall: )

(Likely will do a revised contract for this after finalising design)

b. Supply labour & material to install window ledge in solid ply wood &

veneer finish c/w extension of ledge cum cabinet

(extension: 450mm, total ledge length:1600mm)

Living room

a. Supply labour & material to fabricate suspended shoes cabinet

at foyer area with solid ply wood, high pressure laminate & ABS trimming

(900mm(W) x 300mm(D) x 900mm(H)) x 2 set

(Likely will do a revised contract for this after finalising design)

b. Supply labour & material to fabricate TV wall feature **** room

1) 1500mm x 100mm laminate wall feature with stainless steel inlay

2) 600mm x 2700mm x 5mm wall paper

3) 1500mm x 300mm x 2500mm TV console in solid ply wood, high pressure

laminate & flip down glass door

(Likely will do a revised contract for this after finalising design)

(Depth of TV console seems too short to accommodate players)

c. Supply labour & material to install outdoor timber platform in chengai & varnish finish

at outdoor to level up planter area

d. Supply labour & material to install false ceiling **** room area with plaster board

& MS stel support finishing

e. Supply labour & material to install light pelmet at dining area with plaster board finish

(Likely will do a revised contract for this after finalising design)

Guest bedroom

a. Supply labour & material to install window ledge in solid ply wood & veneer finish

Mscellaneous

a. Supply labour & material to paint whole house wall & ceiling

(ICI: wash & wear, light & space, 3 in 1)

(Nippon: 9000 series or odorless)

b. Supply labour & material to install timber curtain at guest bedroom and studyroom in

solid ply wood & veneer finish

Some of the custom procedures that we have gone through:

Kai men (open door after collecting keys):

Mix rice (uncooked), salt and tea leaves.

Just throw the mixture at the main door and say some good words before opening.

Kai gong (to signify start of renovation):

Bring a hammer tied with red string and knock 3 times at the place suggested by the fengshui master.

Then the contractor can start any date/time after that.

Simple, short and sweet :)

Congrates on ur new place! I stayed in Yew Tee for a while before. It's a nice place. Lots of people jog. hehehe

The surrounding areas of Yew Tee MRT have changed quite a bit.

Now got YewTee Point. YewTee Shopping Centre has also expanded (got a new cafe and also McCafe).

The MRT station itself have 2 foodcourts.

totally same as us!! Hubby strong Gold, me strong Wood (BIG tree in fact!!)

our FS master say Red and Green are good for us. so we r concentrating on more red :)

very nice hse u got there! ;)
