guy77 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 (edited) made a request to joseph yesterday. wanted to change my kitchen water pipe. my auntie who visited my flat yesterday pointed out that it is best to change the existing water pipe as I am going to box up the pipe and if next time got problem with the pipes, may need to dismantle the cabinet. so i changed lor after hearing. and joseph is so fast to react. today, the pipe changed liao. forgot to take pic of the newly installed pipe. will take tmr... have a pic of the existing pipe. nothing wrong ba. but jus to play safe my gas piping is ready my altar powerpoint. initially was below, but i shifted it up. more easily accessible. kudos to ah tan(shd be the electrician name) for changing it. but the casing will be cover by the altar. guy77 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 the light and heater switches for my MBR toilet. ah tan installed them in the middle which leaves no space for my window grilles and roller curtains. actually i told him before but he forgot and he kept on saying sorry. he will redo this next tues. my aircon switch and 2 powerpoint sockets. that's the best ah tan can arrange for me. i am ok with it la. and i got a surprise when i visited in the evening. my 4 doors arrived!!! guy77 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2009 tat's all with the pics. carpentry will be up next week. can't wait for it... one thing to ask u all. remember my sliding kitchen door below. u all see the white colour thing (called track?) at the bottom right hand side. that's for the glass door to slide through. when i close the door fully, due to the fact the other side does not have the white colour track, the door will shift to and fro a bit if i push the door. my father suggested putting another similar track on the left hand to solve this problem. is it feasible? my view is that the glass may not align properly as it has to fix in properly in the left track if I were to close it. hope u all can advise on this. thanks. forkie 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 You switches are nice ! MK brand look pretty sleek n simple. Good choice. Hmmm for the track... isnt the left side the stainless stain thing will be the thing to stop the glass door when close up ? Or you mean will still shake abit since no track on left side. Sounds logical to have a track as well on the left but the track might be protruding out ? walking n step on it will feel weird ornot ?
familyof4 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 hmmm...I am also hoping to pop by next week...what time is your open house huh?
guy77 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 familyof4: you are definitely welcome to pop by. still have not confirm the timing yet leh. have to see what time blue_diamond and pink_diamond, rierie, rondy, booy and ivy coming also. i will be around in the house and pack in some of the things also. forkie: thanks. i also find the switches simple and nice. not i choose one. think uncle standard install MK switches for all. the track has to ask joseph also. i also dunno. i have the same thinking as you that we will accidentally step on it.
