Was thinking of getting uncle to do the reno for my resale also but wonder how to take loan from bank if no official quote?

tell him about it and he'll give you i guess. he still owe my chinese quote...

one question to ask all of you...

at which point of time did you guys ask the aircon installers to come?? gosh.. we realised we hv not bought the essentials, like aircon, toilet stuffs, and kitchen stuff, and i just reminded HTB that these stuff have a delivery date too...went over to Gain City to get the system 3 yestrd..and was told that installation can only be done on 1st JUNE! gosh..isnt it too late?? then salesman suggested that we shldnt HIDE hte trunkings inside the false ceiling and all. but isnt it very ugly to see big trunkings ALL OVER???

when shld we get the rest of stuff like kitchen & toilet essentials ?? paiseh.. cozz... soo busy with kid's preps for exams this week and havnt had time to do much.. started panicking only yesterday went we were shopping leisurely and remembered to pop by Gain City.. *panic button and signal uPZ*

the aircon trunking is going to be installed once the flooring is done...think u need to ask uncle on the things u need to get ready, and by when...cos he ask me to have my toilet stuff delivered and aircon trunking to be up by this friday.

hi hi, relax. You still have some time. The key now is to shop smartly... haha...

For WC, sinks, bathroom accessories.. a trip 1 morning to Jalan Besar can solve it. The shops like Chuan Heng, Poh Joo and Royal Franco are all very near to each other. Shopping in these shops will give you a idea of costs and design you want.

1-2 week of your reno works are hacking and tiling first.

You will only need the kitchen sink, hood and hob when carpentry are more or less done. Even if the people can't deliver it, you hold on to the catalgue cos they need the dimensions of the sink, hob to cut the 'holes' for the counter top.

If you are using built in oven, get the specifications too so the carpentry can make the right size to fit the oven.

for WC and toilet sinks....... after the tilng is done first.

The toilets accessories are last last... ie when reno about to finish.

My house is one of the five who will officially start next week bah..

We just went to Gain City @IMM last sat and the sales person managed to squeeze our appt to May.. You need to specially request for the date if you have reno schedule to follow..

Maybe I'm more KS, I already got everything ready by the time they have completed cementing the walls. Didn't want any delay. Moreoever, I'm doing full concrete for the lower cabinets so they had to have all the measurements and to double check.

haizz... i'm starting on thursday, collecting keys tomorrow (YIPPEE) lorx..so thats way i raise my panic button. uncle came and measured our place last nite, luckily he did not "fly my aeroplane"

the system 3 AiRCON systems we bought were so ex... *heart painx*, $3k for fujitsu system 3 plus change of trunkings to the thicker ones and all.
