Yesterday when we finished setting up, it's already 11pm, so can't test on it much.. I can only say it can get pretty loud, yesterday we adjust the volume to 5 only and I think the maximum is 20+, and we are already scared it might disturb our neighbours. We bought it for 1199 during the megatex as well. Not long after we bought it, we saw there's ads on straits times best denki/gain city got promotion deal for 999 only for toshiba full hd 42", not sure if it's the same model.. but we went to best denki/gain city a few times, we never see such a promotion... so not sure whether it's real.. Not sure about the picture quality, I guess it's alright... Actually to really be able to differentiate it you need to have a bluray movie.. haven't tested on local channels though.. Last time we ever asked Uncle to laminate over the wardrobe in bedroom 2, he said it will cost 90 bucks for 2 doors (top and bottom for the full height wardrobe, And the wardrobe has 6 set of doors, total have to pay 540 just to change the door. Heard him telling me uncle sent him to a bishan unit to look at rectification works but when he went up he realise all the rectification works is supposed to be uncle's side not his. Sounds like your unit right? hahaha Hahaha... Yes, it's my unit.. So far, we are quite satisfied with his work. He will try his best to change the scratched laminate.. So far he has changed 3-4 times already on different things.. He always complaint to me that the scratches were not his fault, when he completed the carpentry there's no scratches and properly wrapped... But he continued saying but since my unit was done by him, he got no choice still have to change for me.. Just that he's unlucky.. So yeah, he's quite good.. Actually there're still some other scratches, but those which are difficult to change and not very obvious, we do not want to pursue too much.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
