We are official owner of our 2nd place on the 30th March. But already start some reno on the 23rd LOL... since owner is not living there.

ya! Nice and big space very challenging layout. Whole living room is 15 meters wor :o

Mine is also same like yours, 4 bedroom. First thing I did was to hack the wall between the kitchen and the study so have a bigger kitchen! :) But you lose one room la.

How old are your gals?

Ya very challenging.. I also v headache. Till now we are still puzzled why we chose this place as our 2nd home.. maybe is the gals love it.

I have 2 princesses, 31mths & 10mths. Full time mother TIME being :)

We didnt hack the wall lo. According to some FS too. But I am ok with One Man Show kitchen too.

50k reno, got 3d pics to share?

I have uploaded the 3D perspective view in my blog hehehe. But frankly 3D doesnt matter much to me. Yesterday we meet up with Roy and we talk over the ideas and he share his ideas to me and draw on the spot and explain to me which is MORE clearer :)

THUMBS UP for him. I find him very committed and really put his heart to make our home now.

Cant wait for the outcome :)

Going up to new house later and take some pic of the DONE bathrooms & my balcony flooring.

This sun is meeting Roy @ new house to discuss painting, lightings, some other areas to confirm & YES going to see more things up...

1 more month.. counting down

How come our Reno is up to 50k? I am sorting it out details by details. About all is carpentry work.

1) We get tarkett laminate flooring from recently Home Living Expo fair. Our living, dinning will be using VGROOVE premium series whilst studyroom & 3bedrooms will be normal laminate flooring. Uploaded the colours at my Blog liao. DAMAGE $8000

2) Roy quotation - $40k.

Make it short what we have done.. long list will bored my friends here :)

a) Hacking works for my kitchen, toilets, foyer, new kitchen entrance, new MBR entrance.

b) Tiling works for toilets. Kitchen will be plastering as wall and save the wall tiles cost. I will be using Black tempered Glass as backing between the cabinet.

c) Dismantle existing window grills, door frames.

d) Supply new grills, door frames & veneer doors.

e) Carpentry work

- TV Feature Wall

- Full height shoe cabinet cum display

- Study room table & cabinets

- MBR Normal Wardrobe (cannot do WIW :( )

- Hmm some other items for FS purpose.. hard to explain...

- Of course kitchen cabinets haha

f) Supply & install false ceiling c/w L Box for foyer, living, dining & study & 3 Bedrooms.

g) Both Bathroom will be done up.

The list can be real long.. 3 pages lo.

Cost not forgetting ---- LIGHTINGS! Really can cost alot to buy & changing switches, relocate points...

Recently DAMAGE to pocket.

1) Vanity accessories - $1900

2) Sofa 3.16m, TV console 2.2m, coffee table & 1.6m Dinning table - $5000 (from furniture club)

3) Hood Hod ( Delizia), Oven (Brandt) - $1840

Still looking

1) 42'' TV

2) New bed / mattress

3) Water feature

Ehh bit brain dead cant remember liao wahaha

Don say KPO la. Sometime is referencing too.

Ya lo alot carpentry works... sometime when engage FS... that is where if some place goes wrong THERE bomb ur pocket pengz.........

But I only hope will improve overall & most important for me is smooth sailing & good health. Once awhile help me strike some $ i also don mind :sport-smiley-004:

Yes v true leh. When we first go n see the flat, our gals are behaving normal. My #1 is running around and #2 keep smiling giggling no crying! Sometime you know la they have certain instinct la. And this is a corner unit, previous owner indian but very clean! The valuation is quite ok for a unit like this. So we think over, view another 1 more time with our other family members and OFF we paid the deposit.

Yours is done up soon liao oh... I am also looking forward yours.
