I think this is the final drawings...

Ok. things are more or less settled. Called Uncle to tell him I need to meet him to finalise the VO and whatever amendments made along whole process and those cancelled etc. I still pretty much prefer a PD door, told Uncle I intend to go the the PD Door Specialist and order my door, he is ok with it.

Hopefully Uncle remembers to call me on wed or thurs. Need to go up tomorrow to check on the progress and see my pebble wash floor :)

Glad that you decided on pd door and getting the professional to do :) you will love it.

Yes, fondue, after much thoughts, I still go for it as I feel that I still pretty much prefer that for that toilet.

uncle mentioned bifold is better than PD tho.. how come u are going for PD?

did u ask why?

bifold door uses bottom track, bad is will trap water and it'll have algae growth after long period.

he said the ball bearing track is top track only, no bottom track and more hardy. not sure how true is that... gotta use it to see how it works out.

Heard that there is many maintainance problem with PD door . If you insist of PD door, he will ask you to purchase direct from PD door and ask them to install.

Problem of PD door is whenever you have guest coming, you will have to explain how to use it. If not it is easily damaged.

Bi-fold door will not trap water. The rail is a inverter "T". Have been using for more than 10 years and no algae yet. Only problem sometime the rail not smooth and got to use sandpaper to smoothen and apply WD40.

Regarding the bi-fold door, uncle says there is one type that is top-hung and will have lesser problem in the long run. He mentioned he is very chor lor and the one at his house is still working very well.

But I prefer PD door lah...so have decided to go ahead and use PD door :)

Frankly, PD door is nicer but must be gentle to it. Can check with Ah Hock on some spare parts to buy in case got problem.

I really hate trouble. the possible problem is with the catchment when we slide in and swing?
