Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Really ah? My hubby likes the black glass one a lot leh .. almost every furniture shop also look at them. I prefer the white ones .. there is a simple marble table i saw that costs 2+k, but it is really nice lor. Too bad I got no budget I also saw some nice white lacquer top ones, but I think they will crack or get scratch easily. Yah, I read from other forumners' tblog that they have to wipe their tables frequently, cuz the dust is very obvious on black glass. Hmm, either black or white will match ur pretty dining lights though.
ivy 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Ah soon also ask me to do cove lighting .. but we decided not to becos it is a open shelf, can gather dust and require cleaning. So you may want to consider my husband also not very willing to have cove lightings due to that issue. But we are engaging part time helper to come in on weekends to clean up the place so ahhh will get the helper to clean instead. heheheh
gaku70 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Rem to call Ah Soon 1 hour before appt ok? Remind him... otherwise he will forget. WC and sink I bought from Eestilo along Sims Ave (Geylang) but mine are one-piece ones so they are a little more expensive. Parents insisted on these. Don't mind sidetrack abit. What is in the Eestilo package except the wc and sink? Does it come with basin waste , the wc adapter etc. Does Eestilo waived gst?

apples 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 Just a update on the progress .. Hacking has been completed. Aircon piping done and the living room walls has been plastered. Ah Soon told me they should start tiling tomorrow, but when I went to check earlier, the water proofing not done yet? Is this normal to do water proofing and tiling on the same day? Today two guys were doing a box up for the tv feature wall, and they made it wrongly - instead of 4 inch thickness, it was more than double. It was also 5 feet instead of the 6 feet we wanted, had to get Ah Soon to tell them to change it. Looks like we need to monitor the progress closely .. apples 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 Ah Soon told me that they will do waterproofing for the floor after they finish a part of the wall tiles. Will monitor when he does my place ... My floor tiles have been completed yesterday .. Jason told me they will do waterproofing just before laying the tiles. Just have to take their word for it since they are the expert Next up, correcting the L-Box in the living area and installing a new L-Box in the master bedroom. Met up with Jason last night and he was drawing up my kitchen cabinets .. he is really good at it. But his legs are still giving him problem .. very poor thing Have to select paint and laminates by the next few days .. Did you all choose Nippon paint? The Nippon paint like not much selection but I was not given any ICI book to choose. Btw, who has the lamitek book now?

So after they lay some of the wall tiles, they have to put the water proofing as no one can walk over the place
