hihihi 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 wow that thing already cost $120 . . . coz that's made in france, including labour. Actually there are those brandless ones selling in HW shops as well. I got a quote to supply and install at $80, brandless one, dual flush.

I got a quote to supply and install at $80, brandless one, dual flush. Bought myself the cheapo flush to modify to the dual flush. Interesting project. Cost for DIY was at about $40 (can't remember exact amount).
sherchoo 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 Serious? I mean it's already like that when I first got it? o.O Judging from flush alone can't really tell. If you open the tank, you can try flushing it and see how much water drains out. Seen mine drain 1/2 tank for 'small' flush, 4/5 tank for 'big' flush. Quite obvious. limlim 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2009 wah. the france one is really a joke. i managed to change the whole system plus the water level control at $37. i went to my usual hardware shop and they sold me the whole set for 37. if he said to change the single flush is just 22 dollars. double flush is 40 from italy. so i see no reason we pay so much more. so maybe diy will always help save money
