Changing From Black Hat To Traditional Feng Shui

Recommended Posts

Mr. Chong,

I live in the northeastern part of the United States. I have used Black Hat version of Feng Shui but am not getting the results that I wish. I am changing to traditional version and am working on recreating my bagua. My house has an "L" extension that is on the same foundation and under the orginal roof. The regular house size is 24' x 46'. The "L" is 14' x 14'. Is this considered part of the house so I would have some missing areas or is it a bumpout? I was told it was an extension but now I think it creates missing areas. I am attaching a floor plan for your review.

My front door faces the street and is on the side of the house with the most windows. The compass reading at my front door is 80 degrees. The reading 3 steps back is 78 degrees. I need your help to determine the center of my house.

My house is currently yellow with white trim and I am siding the house in a few months. I think dark green with white trim and black shutters would be better for the facing direction of east. Do you agree?

Thank you for your assistance.

Carolyn

Hello

There are a few types of L. For yours, you should draw an imaginary line across 1/3 into the extension of 14x14. Base on the new rectangle, you'll get your centre.

Colors is secondary, put the colors you like.

Welcome.
