troxxy 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) Hello Everyone Thanks for visiting my Blog. Introduction After getting our floorplan, we went around asking IDs for quotations. In the end, we chose Max from Gplan. He is a responsible and trustworthy ID. My brothers had their very own ideas, but they had no problems dealing with Max. Besides that, we also did a lot of changes from the beginning to the end, and he is able to get what we wanted. Most importantly, throughout the renovation till now, we also had met a few problems, but we managed to solve them peacefully Renovation No HACKING of tiles or cabinets but lots of carpentry work will be going on. Besides our bedrooms, we use Black, Grey & Red as the main colours. 3D Drawings They are being hand drawn. In the start, I requested Max to get the 3D drawings done using computer software, as its easier for me to put up on site and most IDs are able to do so. But Max told me that those 3D drawings may be too promising, and the results may not turn out as good as the drawings, due to colours, accessories & tones. Other than that, with hand drawn drawings, he is able to include dimensions of the items. Will be uploading them up soon. Lightings On the second day after getting our keys, the electrician and Max discussed how the lighting will be setup in our house, and calculate the number of down lights and cove lights needed. After that, Max brought us to Balestier Road to get our lights and mosaics which will be used for feature walls in living room and master bedroom. The name of the shop is Designer Lighting, the service was good. The delivery uncle came to our house quite a few times, for changing of tubes, light in the yard, without extra charges.
