My friend aka my ID say stainless steel is much cheaper if pick those normal grade ones but you'll face problem at corners and turning points as stainless steel pipin are harder to bend and need a joining there to do so. And when you use joining, there's tendency of leaking.

Also, from personal experience, those lower grade stainless steel (i.e. products i bought from IKEA) started to rust after few years of usage...:( that's why i try not to buy stainless steel product from Ikea where it need to be in contact with food.

Hope this help...:D

Iinitial stage when driving around searching for the right shop and bargain was troublesome. but now is ok. Just went in again last weekend to buy my dining table light.

The 22 downlights is for my living room, dining room and master bedroom. All all L-box. No false celling as i got fan in all my bedrooms. Air cond is only for hot season... :dancingqueen:

My wife planning to bring her friend there to buy the kitchen and lighting stuffs as well (she's planning to renovate her place after mine is done. Want to compare the workmanship first)

I'll be going there again next weekend to get some more stuffs. Bar stool and toilet accesories...:) the taps i bought come with 5 year warranty (so called one of the best brand in Malaysia, Sorento) so i guess should be alright... :sport-smiley-018:

Hi Shkeat,

Which lighting shop in jb did you go to. Are the downlights suitable to be used for HDB. Understand that some of the downlight has longer depth.

Regarding the kitchen sink, will they drill the hole for the tap or it comes blank and your contractor drill for you?

Yako Lighthing. Singapore also has those longer depth downlights. Also, the downlights are actually similar and some even are same models are here in singapore. That's why my wife and myself made a comparison between singapore and JB with same model before we decide which to buy. :deal:

As for the sink, it already came with 1 hole but i'm getting my contrator to drill another hole for me for the soap dispenser.

$268. The rest of the pricing is on my first post...:D i kept updating that post only... :dancingqueen:

Yo. I also buy my downlight from Yako Lighting. The 2 brothers there very friendly. Price reasonable too. I found JB downlights more designs to chose from.

OK, look forward to your photos.

About the stainless steel 305, it is better than the normal 304 stainless steel sink that we find here. This is due to the higher nickel content which helps to reduce corrosion. The thickness should be 1mm.

Wow so coincidence... :notti: We found out about Yako when we were seaching for fan. Before Yako, we went to quite a few shops but the price was not very attractive.

We deal with Ah Qiang more. Didn't really deal with his brother. But we did visit his other branch to pick the dining table light as well. Brought my cousin there to buy some lights for her condo as well. We even bought our ceiling fan there, pay there but collect in sgp...
