Yes, Kallang Way 1 is the one that i went.... Please call them 1st before going down....... No worries I called them to check on the opening hours before I go down. Bought a Oceanis Standard hair-dryer (1600W) for $85, a magnifyng mirror with light for $110, and a luggage rack for $65. This is the luggage rack, need it as i am a frequent flyer Not manage to take picture for the wall-mounted hair-dryer and magnifying mirror, as they are still in the box and will be mounted by the contractor when reno is about to complete. Just take note that JVD does not have NETS or credit card facilities. So, please bring enough cash. I brought mine from Poh Joo for $120, abit ex coz too lazy to go and source a cheaper one. Mine is something like the one posted here. It is made in Germany based on the box indicated. Cz most hotel hairdryer i use is those that auto on once you pick it up. the one that bigcat has doesn't auto "on" on itself. those hotel types are different. but thar JVD also got sell the hotel type as well. but those hotel types will not last long coz of the plastic tube. it break easily as it is not flexible and its made of plastic. this was explained by me by JVD and Hoe Kee ppl when i was looking for a hair dryer. best types are the ones Bigcat or I bought. Mine is the smaller version of Bigcat's. as for the wiring, i have a switch where i 'on' it, before using the dryer, just like any other ordinary switches. and also, there is a certain rule in HDB units for wall mounted hair dryers. I'm not sure what're the exact rules but my contractor was explaining to me tat time. we cannot suka suka install any type of wall mounted dryers. but anyway, i dun give a damm to these HDB rules..... Ahh. So i have to plug it in to a normal power socket (and then hit the power socket switch to on it) or run an electrical wire from a switch to it? That's what is was asking. I get my contractor to run the wire for me. This is not auto-on type as well, there is a power selection and switch on the hair-dryer, and you have to keep pressing the swich to activate the hair-dryer. JVD said this is a safety feature. My contractor installed another switch outside my bathroom, which I need to on this switch, before I can switch on the hair dryer itself. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
