Hi XBB,

Fridge base depth should be around 80cm to accomodate most fridge.

Fridge depth ranges from 60cm to 70cm+.

if the base depth is 80cm, the rest of the cabinet base is 80 or 60?

seems awkard to have the fridge base protruding along a straight line kitchen

No point building a base that cannot hold securely your fridge.

Edited: Best that you have dimension of the fridge you wanted to get and then do a base with allowance for ventilation.

I was asking how come the floor trap is on the wm base? You expecting flowing water on the wm base?

If not, the floor trap should be below the base and a small canel opening in the base leading to the floor trap.

I was saying that the fridge base depth should be able to accommodate the fridge you want to use. Otherwise no use.

It is uncommon to see fridge base same depth as cabinet.

Standard kitchen cabinet depth is 60cm. Perhaps yours is more than 60cm?

It is impossible to find a fridge that is so small! Besides you need to cater space for motor. You better check!

I will not be making base for mine.

nothing wrong but the base a bit small so u'll need to source for small fridge to fix the base. But u can always make the base bigger. My dad make the base bigger when my mum bought the side by side fridge for me as the original base was too small for the side by side fridge.

actually i hv no idea why there is a floor trap there too :P we jus take watever's left over by the ex-owners. and i think the floor trap on top will not be in use anyway, there is another one below the base also.

hmmmm.....maybe its the pic? the fridge base depth actually quite big leh.

there are still space after placing a 2 side to side door fridge wor.... and then again they are left over by the ex-owners so there is nothing much we can do also unless to tear out the cabinets then.

thanks for all ur advices! :)
