Hi Jesperbg,

The first photo was taken after the bunga worker left.

A while later, my contractor came up.

Immediately, he called someone & start scolding him, first time see him so fierce, me in the hall also can hear. :o

Around 1 hour later, the bunga worker came up again & start to punch the hole, that time I also never think so much.

The 2nd photo was taken on the following day.

Must give credit to my contractor :thumbs up: , lucky never short cut, else next time peel off then big big problem.

Your contractor really must 8|

Btw, have you shifted in already? :)

Hi Lubbi & Rondy,

Like lizard are? Your comment make me largi want to change colour. ;)

When yesterday I saw the 3d drawing, my heart sank. :(

My contractor ever told us before that we can have a maximum of 3 drawings. Now I've already used up all. :bangwall:

Hi Angel,

The drawing is put up by my contractor but I shift it to the hall, scared wait the worker damage it. :D

Hi Pinklady,

You mean the black laminate got white patches? :dunno:

Hi mrspiglet,

Thanks, will take note of that.:)

Hi intel,

I've only engage one contractor only, don't quite understand what you meant, can be more specific? :dunno:

Hi Ponytail,

Sorry, i don't mean to be a sport spoiler but i really feel that those black design look like hundreds of lizards sticking on the top cabinet. Like the picture that rondy posted, if you were to colour those lizard in black, it feels like the same effect as your top cabinet laminate to me.

Just to share, I bought a resale and they have some wall tiles which resemble a stick of 'mei hua' (like pink flower) near to the sink area. From afar, I also think they seems like lizard sticking there. Luckily, there is only like 3-4 of such tiles.

So I was pretty shocked to see that top cabinet laminate on your drawing.

For those who don't know what is pebble wash, here you are.

Happen to be around when the Shifu was doing.

A process more complicated than laying tiles.

14904780_1d10c2a11235279846_m.jpg

Step 1.

After pouring in the pebble ( a mixture of pebble and cement and water )

the Shifu had to use a tool to tap & flatten the surface.

Step 2.

Use a painting roller to make the surface more uniform and smoother.

Step 3.

Use a sponge to dry the excess wet cement.

Step 4.

Leave to dry.

Finallly you got the nice pebble wash.

Another angle.
