lubbi 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 (edited) Frankly, I also think his previous pebblewash not really up to standard. Its like too little 'pebble' inside compared to those that I seen before. You can refer to this thread about pebblewash, think someone posted their pebblewash pic there. Can see that its really full of those small stones, like very packed kind. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2253 Edited: I found this site which shows pebblewash. You may want to take a look also. http://www.auraenterprise.com.sg/pebblewas...lewash.html#tpy Edited February 27, 2009 by lubbi

Lucky Guy 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 Sorry ah.. a bit mountain turtle. Y must punch hole? Hi mrspiglet, Managed to find the answer for you. My contractor told me that this punch hole aka knock hole is to make surer the plastering got more 'grip' to the wall, else the plastering will not last or like jesperbg's case, 'peel off'. Lucky Guy 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 Hi all, I'm new here.. making my maiden post ;p Lucky Guy, ur new kitchen wall has no tiles? I'm thinking of doing cement screed but the contractors i've spoken to have mixed reviews... any advice? Hi StitcheDust, if you are still reading, I believe different contractor might do the plastering using different methods. Utimately you got to trust on your appointed contractor to do his job well, if you don't trust him, then will be difficult to work together. =)
Lucky Guy 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 Wah at last, at last, you've started your reno blog. Lucky you got hubby to help you load pics. Agreed with the rest, the laminate too complicated leh. If you really like this victorian series, why not go for the first one on the left, pattern not so obvious. But before you commit, call Edmund to show you a bigger sample, like A4 size so can see the pattern more clearly. Hi Jupiter, nice to see you around. Wifey told me you also using same contractor, anyway your signature also stated.=)

mrspiglet 2 Report post Posted March 1, 2009 What happened? care to share? hope nothing big Mrs Piglet, i can ans your question! Becoz dat time my ID told me. 1 day in advance, you need to inform your upstairs your up up stairs and all your downstairs too, that you are changing pipe, pls dun ****, urine or bath during that time. anyway, my next door neighbour got complaint to me b4, that the pipe is very smelly, and my plumber also say, some of the neighbours are not co-operative at all, and **** and urine and you can see the "things" flowing down while they are changing! Yuck yuck yucks OMG! then the workers must be cursing when the waste comes gushing down! Does that mean it will be easier for me to chge my pipings since i'm on the highest level? The prev owner spray rockstone paint over WHOLE house including the pipes. Really Hi mrspiglet, Managed to find the answer for you. My contractor told me that this punch hole aka knock hole is to make surer the plastering got more 'grip' to the wall, else the plastering will not last or like jesperbg's case, 'peel off'. Ah?? But that only applies to kitchen wall if we arent gonna lay tiles rite? My house in the midst of plastering away the rockstones, i suppose the 'holes' form by the stones shd hold the plaster together?
