I've came across some but all very chinese looking... don't suit my house theme leh... hihi Ivy! think we better dun hack risis's blog any examples of the pic u can show? let me know i can try look around. another alternative is to find the image u like n print on canvas. http://www.brilliantprints.com.sg/ my friend did a print from them n the quality is not bad. he paid $200 for both. forgot wat sizes already. they got state prices so agar agar know how much u will spend. **very important** the image u find must be 300dpi(or of good resolution) so that the printout will not be pixelated. Bon07 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 How thick should wall skirting be? I think the tilers made mine too fat. When I look at it, I can't help but feel that the thickness is very "outstanding" I use my finger to measure then came back to office to use ruler to measure my finger, wahhh the thickness is about 2.5cm leh. (the slanted length on top). I asked the tiler, he told me it's bcos my walls are not even and the walls are not plastered yet. He says after plastering, it'll look slimmer cos the plaster will be of certain thickness. Not sure whether they are smoking me or not, plastering of wall got so thick meh? Anyway I called to feedback to uncle, told him they made my skirting "bui bui". He said he'll go up and take a look later. Do you think it looks thick? yup, it does look thick. The skirting in my current house is also ~1cm thick.

newnyew 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 (edited) this is wat i mean by tonal n solid colors. sorry i had to choose this pic as all are almost the same! solid demarcation of colours will present itself to be more modern whereas gradual tonal values looks more oriental.
