Cloyn 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 thought most hdb flats will have 2 water heater for those instant ones? unless you are thinking of 2 heaters in one toilet Ok, I remember how it goes. There can be 2 heaters, but one of which must be the 3 pin plug type instead of the switch with red light. If want both heaters to have switch with red light, it's not approved. Cloyn 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Wow! You mean hdb won't even approve if both heaters are switch with red light type? Yes, that's what my contractor says, but I can't remember the exact reason for that. If one of them a switch with a redlight, then the other must be a 3pin plug. Especially valid if you are getting PUB to go thru the wiring checks (optional) If there are no checks, then no issue.
