pinkpetter 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 When my parents first got their EM fresh from HDB many years ago, they listed my great-grandma as one of the occupants. The ruling then was that if they got the flat "faster" through such ways they had to hang on for 8 years. Then, according to HDB records, we had 5 people living under the same roof with one more (the helper). But 4 years down the road, my mom gave birth to my brother. Then the pro-family plan for 3 kids came up and my parents successfully sold the the flat with permission from HDB, stating that there is too little space in the flat for so many people.
