Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 hi preciousjam, i have talked to yeak before too, he's a nice guy, and i think his quotation is very reasonable...... although i didn't engage him in the end because i need more help in design, he is really a good option for you i think. Harlow harlow! U engaged Frontier in the end?
xherion 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 hi angel, yep, managed to bargain with the id so that the quote is only ~1K higher than Yeak, so i think it's a reasonable quote for ID. thanks for all your help so far.

BunBun 5 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 Ah your home is very cosy and very mei mei leh. But your bed is very inviting, can i pop over and sleep on your bedsheets? *kidding lah* Akemi brand is pretty good, got different colours & patterns also. I love bedsheets, this drives my hubby nuts as we have only 1 bed and I always keep looking at bedsheets. But personally i feel that life itself is short and we all are busy with work and family not to mention other commitments, sleep alone is such a big luxury nowdays. *sigh*
jesperbg 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2009 roamca The brand name is Akemi, and I bought it at around $150 after discount at Robinsons, Raffles City. The good thing about this brand is that the fitted sheets are deep enough to fit thicker mattresses. Hehe, make do with the one you have while you slowly search for another one loh. Angel, we saw the Akemi bedsheets which are quite nice.. but the salesperson told us cannot fit 14" inch mattress...tink he mentioned 30cm (~12") only...so we dont dare to buy...is yrs 14"? It's not fantastic decor like those designer decors (love cher's designer decor, esp the lighted kitchen island!), but it's a cozy home. hehehe.. Whenever u're near the area, ur're most welcome to drop by. YAH!!! I love bedsheets also, but my hb same like urs loh. Mine will stop me from buying, stating that there's no space to keep them. I have 2 comforter sets and 2 quilt sets, so the comforters take up lots of space. hahha.. come GSS, I'm going to get another quilt set. hehehehee.... Life what u sae, life is short. We should enjoy whatever we can. Angel, we saw the Akemi bedsheets which are quite nice.. rolleyes.gif but the salesperson told us cannot fit 14" inch mattress...tink he mentioned 30cm (~12") only...so we dont dare to buy...is yrs 14"? Hi jesper, mine can leh. It's even stated on the cover that it's esp longer in depth to fit thicker mattresses. Would those that u were looking at be another range in the Akemi brand? Maybe that's why the salespax said that it cannot fit 14" mattresses? Edited April 21, 2009 by Angel81

preciousjam 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) Preciousjam, I tot u doing w Ah soon leh. so how yeak's quotes compared to Soon? Comparable? Hi!! wanted to use ah soon...but hubby feel he got too many projects on hand...don't know if he can do for us in time as we have to move within time frame coz buyer hope we can give him the house asap....first impression of Yeak not bad also...so far his and ah soon quote for us are the best....of coz i have to admit ah soon's is better.... Yeak is not that kind who gave you a high high quote and then give you discount to make it seem cheaper...He'll be showing us some flats he have done this week...will update on the workmanship....
