Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 Hi Angel, I finally got the quote from yeak, quite reasonable i think. Want to add a few more works, but what do you think of his workmanship especially on carpentry? Thanks, Nick His workmanship is good, esp his tiling works. Carpentry is not bad as well. But u need to specify the num of shelves or internal settings u wan, if not, he'll just do the standard or an estimation for u. And it may not be what u wan in the end. Other than that, I think it's fine.

Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 6, 2009 Thanks Angel, received your PM. A silly Q to ask, do we really need day and night curtain for MBR? My hb says wanna get night curtain will do, but i like the feel of the day curtain as well leh But he says i waste $ Well, it really depends on u. Day curtains are more to give u some privacy while letting in the light and breeze, while night curtain is to block out light. Therefore, day curtains would be good if your rooms face other blocks. For me, my MBR faces a wide space, but I still did day curtains so that they can shade some glare in the afternoon. And also like what u said, I also like the feel of them! Go ahead and do bah. At most other rooms just do night curtains loh.

So I just retained them loh. But I changed the flooring and did a cupboard at one side for storing my mj table and to put a little fish tank. Show u pics in a little while. Now resizing them. Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) End of Reno Time flies. We've stayed in our new place for 2weeks already. All of our stuff have been unpacked and all furnishing are in. The only things left are to search for our water feature (for foyer), little fish tank (for balcony) and some paintings/posters/art to place around the house. We also need some cushions for the sofa (as u can see, it's really empty). It's been total pleasure staying at our new home so far. Even the housework is not a chore! Climbing the stairs is fun, using the kitchen is utter bliss and my bedroom is haven. Hope that the joy never diminish. Here are the pics to share: Foyer, Balcony and Dining Room Foyer (future water feature at the empty wall opp settee) Balcony and it's wall decals (future fish tank on the left) Dining Room and View of Dining & Foyer together Edited April 7, 2009 by Angel81
