booy 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 Hi all, Anyone can advise what can I do to my used kitchen cabinet? It's dark brown colour solid wood with metallic handles in good condition.. But because it has been used by previous owners for a couple of years, therefore you can see some scratches kind of wear and tear.. 1) What kind of cabinet can remove the top layer of laminate and paste a new laminate back? 2) Or is there companies who can polish the wood of the cabinet to look new? 3) Any spraying on wood like tile spraying? 4) Can I replace the handles without spoiling the cabinets? Anyone with experience to advise?

Anyone with experience to advise? Hey, Booy, I have just refurbished my kitchen cabinet. Been having the same problems when I was about to do it. According to the carpenter, 1) usually pple will just paste a new laminate instead of removing, and it is lasting without falling off. 2) My carpenter can polish for you. If you need help, just let me know, i ll pass the msg to him 3) ya, there is. 4) yes, you can. Good luck to your renovation!
