metalcandybox 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 (edited) Hello all, I got the keys of my Redhill house last April, only started reno this month. We had many months to source for ID/Contractor. Finally found one two months back. Hope all is good! The layout of my house is really really weird. My house is also very small, 85sqm only! My guy and I dont mind it at all, as we like it cozy. But when comes to the renovation, we had some major headache, as our space is limited and our weird l-shaped living room is not helping. Below is the floor plan. The dotted lines are where the walls which we wanna hack are current at. As our living area is so small, we are going to hack away one wall to combine the living area and bedroom 1 as a bigger living space. Will post pre- reno photos soon! metalcandybox 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2008 We are not intending to have kids so fast. Nevertheless, if the kid comes, we will convert the study to kids room. The walk in wardrobe will be the partition for the room.

metalcandybox 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2009 Walls knocked down! My TV feature walls will be in placed of the wall. behind the feature wall will be my dining area Bedroom walls knock down to make space for mini wardrobe. My wardrobe space! My kitchen cabinet hacked and make good. My selection of tiles. For the common room toilet. The guy wanted an altogether different theme for the common room toilet! Some Roman/victorian look here. Haha My kitchen, shiny white wall tiles and black flooring, not to forget the mosiac in between the cabinet. Masterbed room, rustic tiles for shower area, the rest will be cream colour. My house is so mini, it's so hard to take pictures of the place.... esp its full view! Anyway, ID has brought us to shop for toilet bowls, sink, lights and stuff. Bought a chandelier! It's one of our most excited buys. However, cant help but to feel that some places she brought us to are overpriced. The guy is quite upset over spending a few hundred dollars more the overpriced items. She wanted to introduce electrician to us, we saw his quote and decided to find someone else. hmmm... Hope to show pictures of the lights soon!
