How To Remove Double Sided Tape On Wall

hi, i'm new here. Just found out this interesting forum a couple of days ago. I hope i'm not too late to join.

i need help on the following:

i used to tape those pictures or posters on wall using double-sided tape (foam type). now i already remove the posters but i hv problem removing those tapes on wall. they seems to stucked on the wall.

can someone share some tips with me??

1. Soak with lighter fluid; keep away from open flame.

2. Use a plastic ruler/plastic putty knife to scrap off the tape. Do not use the sharp corners of ruler/putty knife; use the flat side and tilt at 45 degrees.

Note: Don't use too much pressure otherwise you'll remove the paint from wall.

u can try using medicated oil or perfume.
