shkeat 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 I came across the Rinnai Katana hood with the glass top hob for $1199, is this a good deal? Anyone using the Katana hood? Is the suction enough for asian cooking?

Is the suction enough for asian cooking? rinnai katana hood is the hood that's angled at 45degree right? Which glass hob is included in your $1199 package? I've been using RB-3CG for the past 3 years and really love it as its easy to clean. My family had used stainless steel hob and enamel hob before but so far this is the easiest to clean. The hob is made from Japan and comes with inner burner built in hob. The price has gone up since.

Oppsgal 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2009 Rinnai Stove not good. After use for about 2 years, stove will rust. When I give feedback, the customer service people told me is chrome coating below the black burner head. Why not stainless steel? Very disappointed with Rinnai stove's quality. Not only the fire is too strong for slow cook soup, the stove's rings also rusty. Not worth the money.
