You must get your contractor/ID to indicate price of the wall and floor tiles, the max amount you are entitled to choose. Now may look cheap but if they tell you can only choose tiles below $2.50psf, that's very risky cuz the nicer tiles we saw ranges between $3psf to $3.80psf. You may have to top up quite a bit if that's the case.

Windows quite expensive. Mine whole house plus wrought iron for living and common about $2,200. And tempered glass shower screen at common at $550.

But carpentry pricing looks okay.

Have you started you renovation already?

I see that your contractor quote you laminate flooring.

Both laminate Flooring and solid wood flooring have their pros and cons but usually if you do not mind paying more, solid wood is the preference to compressed wood. Beside solid wood flooring allow you to do refurbishment (restoration by grinding the surface), which can be seen as a better long term investment.

If you are considering wood (e.g. parquet) flooring for your house, I can provide recommendation which you can save some money by working directly with the wood flooring specialist (reduce middle man markup).

If you are interest, you can email me at alfred.cheong@live.com

I also have a good carpentry to intro. My hse carpentry were done up very nice and good workmanship. Somemore got after sale service.

She was a very nice young lady who helped me to design and give advise (that y I didn't need to engage any ID(save cost)). Moreover will add things in for FOC as she just want the design to look even nicer.

Now engaged her to do my condo.
