yanbros 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2008 Hi Everyone. First post. Just hoping to get advice from fellow forumers here. Problem is as such. Just received my keys for my resale 4A flat. Asked a contractor to come to discuss our reno works. Went to the master bed room and the toilet wall was actually hacked to make the master bed room bigger and the toilet smaller by previous owner. About 3 feet smaller. Contractor said that this work is actually not permitted by HDB but somehow HDB approved it. Contractor than told me to contact my resale officer to discuss this issue. Because we want to rebuild the toilet to its original size. Contractor wanted to safeguard ourselves in case we need to sell it off next time. Just to need to confirm. Is this an approved works by HDB?

zirhk3355 1 Report post Posted December 9, 2008 I also have a neighbour who got approval to hack off the toilet wall. Everything is subjected to case-by-case basis for HDB. So long as you got approval to rebuild the toilet wall, keep the approval and you should not have problem selling the flat next time.
