I'm likely to just ask "Can give a little discount? cannot ah? ok lor". It jus happened yesterday. My aircons leaking water last week, called aircon man in on Wed, did chemical wash on all 4 blowers, topped up gas on Wed. Worked well for 2nights, then Friday night, all the blowers couldn't blow out cold air. Rooms got stuffy w aircon on. Yesterday aircon man came again, say have to change compressor unit, $1450. I tried to bargain, so asked "Can give better price or not?" Aircon man sez "Good price oready. I need to get compressor from supplier. I'm not charging you much for installation. You can ask around." So I go "Oh, ok lor. I write you a cheque". My reno shifu is unknown in this forum; he's really budget, and keen on helping client to save $. The downside is, he's not v careful... paintblobs, uneven painting/paintlines, wiring not well concealed by casing etc If u don't mind that, I can give you his contact number, but from reading this forum, I gather that most people are willing to pay more to get better workmanship. I went to the outlet at UE Tech during sale period, told the sales staff my budget, and asked him to meet it but it is indented from Italy, so must wait 3 months. U can choose the table top frame, the glass colour, and the type of legs u want. 1.2 m by 0.9m, extendible to 2.4 m by 0.9m pinkpetter, u guys don't have sit down meals together; can't be very useful to you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
