vhardono 1 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Hi, Based on your experience, how much is approximately the labour and material cost for the following to create open concept kitchen based on the pictures and the dimensions uploaded: 1) Hack the kitchen wall (about 5 1/2m) 2) Tile the floor and kitchen wall 3) Kitchen cabinet with granite/solid top Without the kitchen appliances, would it be feasible with budget around 5-6K to do above renovation ? From plan view is abt <3metres only leh... +/-$1200 w/PE submission 2) Tile the floor and kitchen wall include hacking +/-$4500 3) Kitchen cabinet with granite/solid top +/-$7000 Ur Open concept kitchen can't be fulfiled wif ur 5-6k budgets... 5k sterling pound maybe can... kekeke Edited November 27, 2008 by de_Pierre Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ahjane 2 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 to save cost..u can do away with wall tiles..and jus cement screed or paint job. There is no need to change the tile hidden by the top and bottom cabinets anyway...no one will see them....also those behind the backsplash..no one see them too. Do bottom cabinets 1st....save up abit and do the top ones later.... Do away with expensive granite top and switch to cheap postform....more care need to maintain..no choice since u have financial budget....u would have to have bigger time and energy budget. still cant make it 5k...at least a few k is saved.
