marck 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2008 Hi All, very first post. gotta know this forum through a friend. anyway i got this issue with a neighbor and wondering what could i do. Recently just completed my 2nd Appt with HDB for a resale flat and started Renovation works. Have pasted my reno permit outside my flat but it was taken down by unknown person! Today when the workers started work, they notice a paper on the outside with the contents something like telling us to keep the corridors clean etc etc What should i do? My contractor told me that AMK and Simei Town Council VERY VERY stingy. What I did before my reno started was buy little gifts and went to apologise to all my immediate neighbours before starting... Cos if it's really neighbours and if they rally against you then next time your life might be harder... you're going to stay there you know Just my two cents. chronograph 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 Cannot be TC, if it is TC, they will be very willing to leave their big names. I bet it is your stingy neighbor. Anyway, you have a approved permit to do renovation and so long it is within 9 to 5 and your workers clean up after that then it should be ok. Usually it is the first few days where there are a lot of knocking and clearing of debris that will dirty the corridor. I will inform the reno project manager to keep the corridor clean.
