xaleysan 2 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Anyone has contacts to people doing this? A single key that opens wrought iron gate, padlock on wrought iron gate and main door? I did that. my locksmith did it, but he only does it for regulars. you can try asking around. Where got ppl do like tad de??? If lost 1 key, u need to change all 3 locks... Worthwhile? If you have the same key for all, and you lose your key, you can choose to change only 1, 2, or all 3 locks. If you have different keys for all, when you lose your bunch of keys, it's also the same isn't it?

xaleysan 2 Report post Posted November 23, 2008 i diam diam liao.... Wordless.... (-.-)" when my locksmith asked me whether i want to have the same key for all my locks, my first question was the same as you "if lose the key, I have to change all the locks?". Then he told me what I said in my earlier reply, if lose the key, then just change 1 or 2 of the 3 locks....unless you still want to retain a single key again, then change all 3 locks.......and I thought..."ya hor, actually it's the same". Byr 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 Yes if Burgler picks 1 locks, all 3 locks open like an express way... Plus if someone clone 1 keys, he has access to all 3 locks... Better keep to 2 different keys.. safer .. a personal comment
