Why Kitchen Can't Have Red Color

I could understand that kitchen sink cannot face directly at stove. Fire clash with water in term of element.

But why kitchen cannot have red color. I intend to use red color for my kitchen cabinet leh.

Anyone knows why? Pls enlighten me..

Hmm.. so far I've only heard that too much black or blue is no good in kitchen. Cuz they'll put out the fire element.

Lots of pple used red in their kitchen. Could it be that ur FSM said that it's not good to have reds in your kitchen only? Maybe cuz of ur bazhi or sth else? If so, maybe u shd check with ur FSM on the reasons why.

har..cannot have red in kitchen mah? i thot i saw in t-blogs that many use red and black kitchen cabinets wor..

as for sink and stove, it is more of a cooking and preparation procedure. moving prepared ingredient to stove area...water might drip drip on the floor.

when two person in kitchen cooking...one wash one cook..if sink and stove face directly, in between might not have enuff space for 2 pax to move freely...

when cooking, you need space around you and to see clearly if anyone behind u...unless u are the ONLY person cooking with no one to help. For example, after cooking, u wish to wash the hot pan...u got to turn around to ensure there is no one behind before you move the hot pan to the sink, if not might scald someone.

i would prefer to go for Red and milky white combination

Reason for not having red is because kitchen is a "hot" place...adding red color will means adding fire to the hot area causing even hotter....not good for health for the family.....hope it explain to all

fengshui is also about location, your stove location is more important.

Some red or black in the kitchen will not affect the Feng Shui of the house substantially but if you paint your whole house red or black the property will have excessive Fire Qi or Water element (if it is black).

I think also depend on ba zi... if the people living in the house ba zi okay with red and black kitchen, then okay loh.
