jasoncassanova 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 we're having our house of more than 20 years renovated, my parents built the house from scratch and now it's my turn to make it new again. over the years i've realized a lot of practical means of making things easier to clean since i grew up cleaning the house most of the time, i had this idea that i'd make a big movable table type cooking area, the counter top will be granite with built-in gas range and since we use gas tanks here in the philippines the tank would be also under the table, hidden from view and will only be accesible with a sliding door. the reason i came up with this is because the gas range with built-in oven we have right now is just impossible to clean and since the gas tank can't be placed somewhere near the appliance it takes a lot of space, we eventually had a cabinet near it made for the gas tank to be hidden from view. plus it's hard to clean something that you just can't move easily, so my thoughts are it would be easier to clean it only had four legs and had enough room for broom or arms to clean the flooring beneath the cooking area. what do you guys think? any comments? de_Pierre 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2008 Well, its a great idea... U're quite an innovative person... If ur space allows u to move ur 'cabinet' freely when cleaning, then just do it... Cheers... well since the kitchen flooring is all tiles, i was thinking of not using any wheel type apparatus to move the table, the legs would just slide if moved from space to another.
