most likely custom made..Those ready made are kinda standard colours..

If you want a different kinda colours to match your theme, you definitely have to custom make..

check out forumers blog..some of them has custom made altars..

Please be careful if you want to do custom design. I hear from the furniture shop got specific measurement one. Anyway nowadays the alter also got more modern look want. Go shop around. I bought mine wilt walnut finish with no carving.

If its for Buddha etc... you can go to Rochor Center (near Sim Lim Sq). There are a number of shops selling Altar table. Among the traditional design, I've seen a few modern design ones... not sure if it fit your standards... he he

There is a standard altar height if you want to custom make..

I have asked the ppl @ Rochor Centre and they are willing to measure and tell me..

Otherwise, the carpenter should hv a "Feng Shui Chi" to measure the "auspicious height...
