m12345y 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2008 Hi Bros, I am very likely to sign up with gain city to install the following Mitsubishi Heavy aircons 1. System4 Inverter for bedrooms, 12k + 9k x3 for S$3761 2. System1 non-inverter single-split 24k btu for S$1477 with all the piping upgrades and with 5 year warranty. I have the impression that the sales guy is very firm on the pricing and does not seem to be negotiable. Is it so? Do you guys managed to bargain certain amount? priyalok 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2008 personally i dun hv any trust with GC. While enquiring earlier for my aircon, I contacted 2 different branches and both gave me 2 different pricing, both non-nego. Later I used another co and I'm satisfied with them. Which gain city did you go to? that makes a difference mine is the smallest EA of 126sqm, sys1 will be on occasionally therefore non-inverter. I went to the IMM shop. all the while, i think gain city is the shop to go until i saw the replies in this thread:P anyway, i also got quote from hong tar, price wise slightly lower, but considering the free 5yr warranty, gc is still cheaper. alphakim 1 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) Purchase of aircon from any dealer like GC, A** B***, etc is not a issue. I think the main issue is the contractor who help to you to do the installation. If they have skilled workers, the chances for the aircon to breakdown is slim.
