Anyone know which brand of Socket Outlet is good or which brand to avoid?

All the brands are ok, just different design. So we go for something we like. Of course you should only choose those tested & approved by the relevant authority. HDB is pretty strict on this due to potential fire hazzard.

I want big buttons, so I go for Legrand. MK, Clipsal are good brands too.

i will avoid MK cos this brand cannot poke the top hole to plug in a 2 PIN plug Clipsal can..

Just bought some coloured switches and sockets from

Guan Seng Electrical Service Co at Woodlands Horizon, 31 Woodlands Close, #01-07, S737855.

Have been looking for black switches and sockets for some time and managed to find it here at contractor price. They have them in grey, silver and white colour too. Hopefully, this is useful for those who are looking for coloured switches and sockets.
