I check with town council contractor the price to change the Big Cast Iron sewage pipe to PVC + U-shape one is $750.

I check with other contractor also the same price leh. I think the price is quite standard one.

But dunno the workmanship good anot for choosing the town council contractor. Anyone use their service Before, under sanitary service

I just changed mine a few weeks ago. The one at the kitchen, not the toilet. Costed me $200+, bec i am using my own town council plumber. If i use other plumber, it is 300+. Since your amk town council plumber charge u $750, u can try other town council plumbers, but this will become a private arrangement.

Different plumber charge differently, and the range can be very wide, so u need to compare. You can read this one :

the price is ok. $750 is fair.

kitchen cost cheaper coz its easier to do.

town council contractors can be trusted coz they are scared of complaints. if flat owners complains abt them, town councils will strike off them from the list.

so its the best to go thru town council.

are we talking abt the same toilet sewage pipe. But how come the price so great difference. Do you still have the plumber number with you or do u still remember which town council u choose?

I check out other town council plumber number. They are using the same person. For kitchen it's cheaper. But for toilet they need to hack the wall then can remove the piping so it much more expensive.

So $750 is correct.
