ziztine 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2008 I bought mine made from Burmese Teakwood. Never had a problem of flies or moulds or even termites. The finish is also very good with a *****. Bought mine from Fusion Interiors. They are at Enterprise One. Somewhere at Kaki Bukit Rd 1. Cant remember the unit number but there is a showroom dircetory that u can refer to when you get there. The quality of their furniture is very good and much cheaper then Dempsey or parkmall. Should try it. I have not regretted buying my furniture from them. Hope this helps May I know how much is the console you bought fm Fusion Interiors?
junetan7 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 Some good buys in vhive. But saw similar-cost models in my local hdb shops also. Is it worth considering? heard very good reviews about Vhive from friends who got their product about 6 or more years ago. So went to get 2 TV consoles from them... ended up, both grew mould (very badly) and breed flies. Or maybe attracted flies or whatever. won't ever dare to buy their wood things again. applefreak 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 as long as it's solid wood, it shouldn't grow mould or attract insects unless of course it's rotting i've got a rubber wood flower stand but using it as a normal stand so far no problem with it my furniture are mostly wood from rosewood, rubber wood, mango wood and nyatoh wood all solid and no problem whatsoever
