TBS 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Wow, you have a nice squarish layout. Kinda envy cos I got a slanted one... Anyway, looking forward to seeing your final product, and more pictures please! i thought of applying for the flats in your area also but my other half strong opposed bacause she find jurong intercharge super crowded. Since you are getting an ID, slant wall shouldn't be a big problem. I see alot of fellow forumers with the same layout as you having great designs.

Yah, the interchange is super crowded, especially during the weekends. Don't think we will dare to go Jurong Point during weekends. The crowd is .. However, we can't really choose also lah. New flats nowadays so scarce, and COV for resale flats are so high. So just live with it loh. Yah, I think the other forumers having the same layout as me have great designs. Just hope that my ID can deliver bah.

zeegi 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 eh... can you predict some toto or 4D numbers for me? Is yours on a 2nd floor since your view of the tree is lower than my view ahaha. Your house seems to be in better condition than mine too!
PsyfaQ 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Yup, I will have light color homogeneous tiles with wood skirting for my living room and laminates for all bedrooms. Kitchen floor tiles will also be changed but i will have the kitchen walls screed smooth instead of having wall tiles. Maybe I should get a system2 also but I am afraid I cant stand the heat...haha Just have to wait and see what ideas my contractor have. *nods* same here my kitchen will be screed smooth too. But your cabinet area there also screed smooth? Me too for my kitchen wall... Screed is the budget way to go... lol...

Your house seems to be in better condition than mine too! i view your unit during my house-hunting process ...the owner is an old lady right? Your t-blog is the 1st one I visited when I discover renotalk. But sadly, u haven't post new pictures for such a long time. Did you let the previous owner stay on beyond the completion date? Me too for my kitchen wall... Screed is the budget way to go... lol... Not only is it cheaper...I feel that it give a more modern look to the kitchen. Nowadays alot of condos also comes with screed kitchen wall. But my mum kept asking me why I dont wanna put wall tiles...she worry whether its difficult to clean, whether the cabinet will be secured etc etc maybe I should just hint to her about my budget constraint
zeegi 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Well when i went to view the house the 2 sisters were there.. owner is i would say a 50+ lady and husband. Is yours the one where the owner has a dog but nearer to the curry fish head stall? My husband didn't like the house because of the smell of the dog. So we immediately put down payment for my new hse Well i feeling lazy to post lei... anyway i will do it soon cos I'm getting my keys tomorrow (hooray!) and have to confirm an ID next week. I let the owner delay the submission of the OTP cos initially they were looking for a place to stay. For the completion they requested 6 weeks cos they found the place and renovation was in progress so they need abit of time to shift their stuff. Just fyi, my mom's kitchen is cement screed and plastered. Just make sure the lizards don't happily pang sai all over the wall like what is happening now to me. When that happens, put a chilli there and they'll run away. My mom does heavy cooking (with no hood) so oil stains on cupboard but u can just wipe away with Jif or Mr Muscle. i view your unit during my house-hunting process ...the owner is an old lady right? TBS 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Wah hack door only also looks like big damage hor.. mmm No choice...have to shift toilet door so as to better utilize the area outside. Now I can place a TV and sofa there I don't like to place the TV directly in front of the bed like what most IDs recommanded.
