Yah, this is one of my concern also. :bangwall: I am thinking of letting the trunking run thru my MBR toilet then along the MBR/kitchen wall. My contractor will ask his aircon installation guy to go down and take a look first, hopefully he will have some neat way of running the trunking.

Worst case senario, I will just have to install a sperate aircon unit onto the sliding window. :P

I have the same problem. :( Mine is a similar layout in Pasir Ris. Previous owner ran the trunking along the kitchen wall straight to the common bathroom, dxxn ugly. Decided to get a system 2 and have a ceiling fan installed for that bedroom.

Good luck for your reno... :good:

Wah hacking is done alr! So fast!!! *looking forward* Are you changing the floor?

Yup, I will have light color homogeneous tiles with wood skirting for my living room and laminates for all bedrooms. Kitchen floor tiles will also be changed but i will have the kitchen walls screed smooth instead of having wall tiles.

Maybe I should get a system2 also but I am afraid I cant stand the heat...haha :D

Just have to wait and see what ideas my contractor have. :(

*nods* same here my kitchen will be screed smooth too. But your cabinet area there also screed smooth?

I decided to have black glossy wall tile for the area between my top and bottom cabinet. Initial plan was to cover that area with a glass backsplash but my contractor warn me that fumes may seep thru and trap between glass and wall.

Then I though of putting mosaic. I found this green mosaic which I like very much. Make the kitchen look brighter. But I feel that it doesn't match the cabinet (woodgrain laminate) that my wtb selects. :(

So I end up choosing homogeneous wall tiles as it is easier to maintain. The tiles are 600 x 600mm to minimised the lines and I choose glossy tiles so that it resembles glass when u see from far.

Wah the mosaic is really really nice.. but ya prolly wun match woodgrain. Would give a retro look with pure white cabinets though. mmm Your choice in the end is very practical ba. Less lines will trap less oil. Easy to wipe. hahaha

Wait you choose mosaic, wife ask you to clean. :P
