It's not good to have stove in front of kitchen door be it direct or side. This is like a mini T-junction, the Sha Qi from the door rushes in and hit the stove. Diavonex 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) Kitchen Feng Shui 1. Kitchen should never be located in the central palace or Heavenly Heart of the property i.e. center of the house. 2. The sink should not be opposite the stove 3. The stove should not be located infront of the kitchen door 4. The stove should not be located below a beam 5. The sink must be a least 2' from the stove 6. The kitchen should be located in a negative sector of the house based on the House Gua. the purpose of locating the kitchen in a negative sector is to suppress the negative Qi in the property 7. Avoid kitchen with #5, #2, #5 and #2, #2 and #3 star Item 6 is based on Eight Mansions Feng Shui Item 7 is based on flying Star Feng Shui Note: It's almost impossible to find a house with perfect FS. Diavonex 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 It's very difficult to establish the facing of a pie shape building. If you get the facing wrong, the plotting of the stars will be wrong. Suggest you get a professional FSM.

Diavonex 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 (edited) Suggest you focus on observing the forms and leave the formula to the consultant. General form guidelines 1. Main door must not be affected by “poison arrows” e.g. edge of buildings, lamp post, tree, narrow gap 2. Square and rectangle layout are better than odd shape 3. House should not have any missing sectors 4. Building main door must be bright, spacious (bright hall) to collect Qi 5. Unit must not face narrow gap formed by two opposite blocks 6. Unit should be near but not facing the lift 7. Apartment should have windows on all sides if possible; better flow of Qi 8. Main door must not be in-line with back door 9. Main door must not face fire escape or rubbish chute 10. Building must not be on stilts; avoid the 2nd floor if there's no 1st floor 11. Avoid building that has a straight road crashing into it 12. Avoid building that access lift lobby via basement car park 13. Avoid highway cutting into building 14. Avoid building located at the fork of a road 15. Avoid wedge shape and narrow building 16. Avoid building where you have no idea where the main entrance is 17. Elevated main entrance is generally not favourable because the main door is located too high and cannot receive Qi 18. Kitchen should not be in the center of house 19. Sink must not face stove 20. Sink and stove must be at least 1 to 2 feet apart 21. Kitchen door must not open directly towards stove 22. Do not locate stove under beam this cause fluctuation of Qi and the stove will be violently affected. 23. Do not sleep under a beam 24. Position the headboard of bed against a wall Edited December 14, 2008 by Diavonex
