wuga98 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2008 recently we installed 2 gas burners from teka, my maid have been complaining of gas smell. We have asked the teka technician to come twice to check and he uses "soap bubble" to check and found nothing. The smell is still there, anyone has similar experience and also if there are other ways to check and be more certain that we do not have a leak?. Thanks

gladyslim 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2008 Get the best quality hose. Few days ago, I met a young lady while waiting for our consultation at SGH. It really pains me seeing her, both her legs and left forearm wrapped with plastic sheet. The explosion due to bad quality of hose landed her in such a stage. Poor thing, came all the way from Batam to SGH and imagine the pains to endure during dressing.
wuga98 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 Tank gas, in fact everything is new, the gas/hose etc all was given as gifts when we ordered from the tank gas provider as we paid for 5 tanks in advance to get some savings. Town or tank gas? Tank gas .. check age of hoses and also to cut off all end and reclamp on new section of hose. Sometimes is also regulator, not clamped properly to tank or got dirt in tank nozzle. Town gas.. call the installer or licenced gas worker. Gas not only fight hazard.. can kena poison just bought something from a hardware shop, they have some liquid which i can do the detection which i will try later. If not, i will probably look to change all the hoses etc to a better one and replace the FOC one. Thanks Get the best quality hose.
