converse 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Hi all, Just bought a 3 rm flat some times back. 2nd appoint was last week. But we did not collect the key. Initially seller requested for 2 weeks extension, but due to some unforseen circumstances, during our 2nd appt, seller requested whether he can have 6 weeks extension. Since we are not in a rush and also got place to stay, we just agree to that lor, somemore he's paying rental to us. Ok, lets get the ball rolling. Here's the floor plan, I copied from retchlow, hoped he don't mind. Now is recession time, so it means that to stretch our $$ further, we'll be getting a contractor instead of id. Any tips are welcome here. Thanks all for viewing.

mmycheng 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Spam Chop! Contractor will definitely help you save money. Cutting down on hacking, carpentry and lighting in your renovation works will help cut costs too.

tower 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 Congrats on your new home. Looking forward to see the transformation of the flat. Where is this 3NG unit located? Perhaps for a start, I suggest hacking away the wall between the kitchen and living room to allow more light to pass thru and look more spacious.

skywolf 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Call them to see if they can accomodate your timing you are intending yr reno to be done... then ask them to come over to look-see and then give you a quotation. From there, add and remove what you want. Thats hw i did it and its the fastest (to me lah). Since the prev owner is still there, make an appt with the chap so that you can bring some potential ids over... Welcome to RT. =)
