mav7256 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2008 gain city quite ok. bought a sys 4 toshiba inverter from them and was installed last sat. one guy dropped by a week before installation to inspect the place. paid around 4K total including piping and insulator upgrade (arnd $200+) and 1+4yrs warranty (arnd $400+). installation is ok (probably not the best) since i already have existing mountings in my resale flat so they try to use it as much as they can. finished everything (including removal of existing sys 2 aircon) the same day (came 10:30am finished 630pm). Tested it just for an hour since i havent moved in to the new place yet.
fanguojun 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2008 dun know if there's any hidden charges or abt the upgraded package they are now fixing the new air-con at my place. i was quoted in $3017.40 in total for a Mitsubishi Electric System 3 inverter (9000 BTU each) plus a stainless steel bracket. Saw in Best Denki that it's going cheaper around $2.6k for a ME Sys 3 with installation. Dun know I was "chopped" by CoolServe or not but the initial experience i had with them was very pleasing thus I signed with them
priyalok 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 I got quote from Gain City. If I compare with CoolServer (via website), the price is same. ANy hidden charges for CoolS****?
Jeig 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2008 the price listed at Cool Serve website include all the "so-called" upgrade package? Like Class 0 insulator, Copper 22, 16mm drainage pipe.
fanguojun 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 how's your experience with Gain City? I had compared Cool Serve with a couple of other vendors like Gain City and Best Tech. Indeed, Cool Serve is on the higher side but I am impressed by their service so far (had made use of their free air con check service). I dun mind paying $200 more if Cool Serve service is better
mav7256 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2008 has anyone engaged their services i.e. installation of air-con? Any comments? Or anyone has got better lobangs for purchasing a System 3 air con? I called them up and inquired about a Mits sys4 inverter. They even went to my flat to inspect for location of condenser and fan coil units. however, price is on the higher side compare to gain city (around 200 more expensive) so bought from gain city instead.
